1st Danish-Japanese Health Network meeting – Copenhagen
24-09-2018 09:00 - 16:30
Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark
The Royal Danish Embassy in Japan hosts the meeting to co-create a common strategic direction and prioritization in relation to the Japanese market efforts based on Danish business demands.
Building on the Danish Growth Plan for Life Science and our bilateral Memorandum of Cooperation in Health between Denmark and Japan, our ambition is to develop and deliver on concrete goals for the Japanese market.
The meeting includes plenum presentations, workshops and individual consultations on company specific needs and projects for the Japanese market.
Agenda Themes (draft)
- Introduction to DK-JPN Health Network
- Health as a Growth Driver – Strategic Sector Themes
- Workshop – Strategic Sector Goals
- Workshop – Prioritization
- Workshop – Key Value Messages
- Individual Company Consultations
Through active stakeholder participation and workshops, we hope the meeting will help consolidate themes and activities, allowing targeted advocacy to key Japanese health officials, promoting value messages on health organisation and therapy areas; sign-post regulatory and access efficiencies; and encourage innovation networks in support of clinical and business solutions.
The outcome of the meeting will also set the agenda for the 2nd DK-JPN Health Network meeting in November (Tokyo), where we together will share experiences and recommendations to a panel of key Japanese Health Officials and stakeholders, further focusing the health and life sciences cooperation for 2019.
